About roastmarket

Roast Market GmbH is a fast-growing e-commerce company specialising in everything a coffee lover needs. Founded in 2014, roastmarket is now Europe's largest online retailer for coffee, coffee machines and accessories, with an inventory of over 4,000 products.

In July 2021, the German coffee company Melitta took over 72 % of the shares in roastmarket and has set itself the goal of becoming the online market leader in coffee retail.

The goals

The project was initially presented in December 2021. In January 2022, The Boutique Agency defined a set of pages to be optimised and went into analysis. 

The goals of the SEO strategy after the successful CMS switch/migration were an improved mobile experience, web performance optimisation and Google Core Web Vitals optimisation.

The results

Among other things, the optimisation resulted in a positive development of all Core Web Vitals. For example, roastmarket was in first place in the loading times for the Largest Contentful Paint after the optimisation and thus overtook its competitor.

Within the three months, roastmarket also managed to achieve a measurable increase in user experience with the query of the Net Promoter Score from 66 to 69.
